Who We Are

Founded by shipwrights and free families along the Cooper River, Cornerstone Heritage Church has weathered earthquakes, hurricanes, and a century of change β€” yet our purpose has never wavered: to love God, to love our neighbor, and to carry the Gospel into every corner of Charleston.

We are an intergenerational congregation of teachers, dockworkers, nurses, students, and retirees. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or returning after a long absence, you will find an honest welcome here.

"We have no creed but Christ, and no aim but to be useful to our city." β€” Rev. Josiah Pinckney, founding pastor, 1887
